Tugging on the leash is relatively easy and quickly resolved. You can't play tug of war with him. When he starts to pull on the leash, simply use the command "slowly!" and jerk the leash (as if you wanted to pull the dog quickly back to you). Repeat this every time he starts to pull on the leash. If you do it right, the dog will quickly stop doing it.
